The 20-year-old Danish-born Ghanaian has put pen to paper on a five-year contract that will keep him at the Groupama Stadium until June 30, 2030.
OL are understood to have agreed a 7.5 million Euros transfer fee with Brondby, with performance-related bonuses that could rise to 2.5 million Euros, while the Danish club retains a 20% sell-on clause.
Nartey, a Danish U21 international, is regarded as one of the standout young midfielders to emerge from the Danish league in recent seasons.
A product of Brondby’s renowned youth academy, he progressed rapidly through the ranks and established himself as a regular first-team player at a remarkably young age.
Since the 2023/24 season, he has made over 70 professional appearances across all competitions, contributing 12 goals and underlining his growing influence at senior level.
Comfortable operating in various midfield roles, Nartey is admired for his technical quality, composure on the ball, tactical intelligence and versatility.
His maturity and consistency have made him a key figure for both club and country at youth international level.
The acquisition fits squarely for OL within their strategic vision of investing in emerging talents with strong development potential and resale value.
The club believes Nartey’s profile, athleticism and mentality align with their ambition to rebuild competitively while securing the future.
Nartey now faces the challenge of adapting to Ligue 1, where he will look to continue his upward trajectory and make a lasting impact in French football.
