The head coach of Nations FC, Frimpong Manso, shared his excitement on Friday after leading the team to a 2-1 victory over Medeama Sporting Club in the Ghana Premier League.
The victory ended the league leaders' impressive 17-game unbeaten run in the ongoing 2025/26 league campaign.
On the matchday, Kingsley Braye opened the scoring for Medeama SC as early as the 9th minute. However, a brace from Nations FC captain Razak Simpson earned all three points for the hosts.
Speaking in his post-match interview, a delighted Frimpong Manso commended his players for working so hard for the result.
“I think you can see the atmosphere around the stadium. We needed these three points, and we worked hard for them. It’s not something that came by chance; we worked hard to get it. For me, I think it was a very nice win for us,” the Nations FC coach said.
Following Friday’s win, Nations FC have climbed to eighth in the Ghana Premier League table. Medeama remain top of the league log with a healthy lead.
