Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Halik Hudu has completed a move to Indian side Sporting Club Delhi, continuing his career in the South Asian country after an impressive spell with Rajasthan United.
The 25-year-old, formerly of Swedish giants Hammarby IF, switches clubs within India after attracting interest with his consistent performances in midfield.
The deal was facilitated by Kingsports Management, who confirmed the agreement between Rajasthan and Delhi.
Hudu joined Rajasthan in October 2025 and quickly established himself as a key figure in the team.
He caught the eye during the Super Cup, where he delivered standout displays against top Indian Super League (ISL) opposition.
The Ghanaian played an integral role as Rajasthan recorded a famous victory over ISL giants Mumbai City FC and earned a hard-fought draw against Delhi, his new club.
Before moving to India, Hudu built a solid career in Europe. He joined Hammarby for the 2018 season from Ghanaian side Inter Allies FC and, after several loan spells, left permanently in 2021 to sign for Danish outfit Lyngby BK.
He later featured for Swedish clubs AFC Eskilstuna and GIF Sundsvall, gaining valuable experience across different leagues.
His switch to Delhi marks a new chapter, with the midfielder expected to bring energy, tactical discipline and leadership to the capital-based club as they strengthen their squad for upcoming competitions.
