Struggling Swedru All Blacks will host FC Samartex 1996 in matchweek 22 of the Ghana Premier League at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The clash will mark the first home game in charge for new trainer Kasim Mingle Ocansey since taking over from Egyptian coach Ahmed Fathi. Mingle faces an immediate test as he looks to steer the club away from danger.
All Blacks head into the encounter on the back of a difficult run, having gone winless in their last five matches across all competitions.
Their most recent setback was a 2-1 defeat to Nations FC in the FA Cup Round of 16. In the league, they have failed to win in any of their last four games, recording two draws and two defeats.
Just one point above the relegation zone, a victory on Sunday is crucial for the Swedru-based side to ease pressure and rebuild confidence under their new coach.
Samartex, meanwhile, were eliminated from the FA Cup on penalties last week but remain in strong league form. The Timber Giants are unbeaten in their last five league matches and currently sit sixth on the table.
A win in Swedru could lift Samartex into second place, adding extra incentive in what promises to be a fiercely contested encounter.
