Hearts of Oak coach Didi Dramani has played down expectations ahead of his side’s tough away clash with Bibiani Gold Stars, describing the encounter as one that will demand focus, strength and discipline from his players.
The Phobians travel to Bibiani on Sunday, March 1, for their Week 24 Ghana Premier League fixture, with Dramani stressing that nothing will come easy against an opponent he knows well.
Hearts of Oak arrive in good shape, having recorded two wins and three draws in their last five matches, and the coach wants that steady run to continue on a difficult pitch. However, he admits the task will be demanding against a side pushing at the top of the table.
"I think that we are very mindful of the strength of our opponents very direct and then a very transitional side and then very fluid going forward. We played them twice already we played them in the in the the top four and we played them in the league.
"And so it tells that it's going to be a very, very tight game, and then we need to be very tactful in terms of how we approach the game and then and then we need to be very physically very ready.
"And then psychologically very much oriented that will influence our tactical discipline, and then our resilience, and then our comprehensive playing with energy."
Bibiani Gold Stars come into the match with three wins from their last five games and are chasing top spot. Sunday’s kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
