English-Ghanaian pair Francis Amartey and Mason Obeng struck in the second half as Walton & Hersham came from behind to beat Havant & Waterlooville 3–1 at Westleigh Park.
The Swans had fallen behind in seven minutes when Leon Maloney’s corner curled straight in at the far post, but they responded with a dominant, controlled display.
Their pressure was rewarded before the break as Kash Odiase drove into the box from the right, and his shot was helped over the line to level the scores. Walton & Hersham continued to dictate after half-time, creating a series of chances before the breakthrough finally arrived on 80 minutes. A flowing move down the left ended with Dawid Rogalski laying the ball across for Amartey to finish clinically from close range.
Deep into added time, the visitors sealed the points when Johl Powell recycled possession on the right and picked out Obeng on the edge of the box, his low shot wrong-footing keeper Matt Kerbey for 3–1.
Walton & Hersham now turn their attention to a home clash against Farnham Town on March 14th.
