Dutch-Ghanaian forward Emanuel Poku delivered a match-winning display as Almere City edged TOP Oss 3â2 in an entertaining clash at the Yanmar Stadion.
Poku opened the scoring after just 10 minutes, timing his run perfectly to finish from a Hamza el Dahri pass and put the hosts in front.
TOP Oss hit back through Tijmen Wildeboer on 25 minutes, but Almere flew out of the blocks after the break. Poku turned provider in the 47th minute, sliding a clever ball through for Julian Rijkhoff to make it 2â1, before Olivier de Nijs added a third seven minutes later to give the home side breathing space.
Mauresmo Hinoke’s late strike set up a nervy finish, yet Almere held firm to secure all three points.
Poku’s goal and assist cap an impressive 2025/26 Eerste Divisie campaign, where he now has 33 league appearances with 9 goals and 6 assists.
Almere City next host FC Den Bosch in the Eerste Divisie on Monday, April 6, 2026.
