Freiburg midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh is delighted to have scored his first goal following his long injury setback.

The Ghana international, playing just his second game since returning from injury, delivered the decisive moment with a late winner—his first goal after more than three years out of competitive football as SC Freiburg II secured a 3-2 win over Hessen Kassel.

It was a defining strike that not only secured victory for Freiburg II but also marked a major personal milestone in his comeback journey.

Kyereh had earlier made his long-awaited return in a 4-1 victory over Eintracht Trier, where he came off the bench and registered an assist in an encouraging performance.
