Basake Holy Stars' Dubi Tayi Kassi has been named Goalkeeper of the Month for March following a strong spell in goal.
The goalkeeper played a key role in his side’s performances, going through the month unbeaten in four matches. Basake Holy Stars recorded two wins and two draws during that run, with Kassi providing a solid presence at the back.
He stood out most for his consistency, keeping clean sheets in all four games. His shot-stopping and organisation of the defence helped the team maintain stability and pick up valuable points.
Kassi beat competition from Gidios Aseako of Dreams FC and Daniel Afadzwu of Karela United, who were also in good form during the period.
His performances have been important for Basake Holy Stars as they look to stay competitive in the league.
As part of the award, he will receive a package from the Ex-Goalkeepers Union, including a branded towel, water bottles and a T-shirt.
