Accra Hearts of Oak intensified their training on Tuesday morning as they step up preparations for their Ghana Premier League match week 31 clash against Nations FC.
The club shared a training video on their official Facebook page, showing the players working with real intensity as attention turns fully to the weekend fixture.
This round of league games comes after last weekend’s schedule was postponed by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association to honour the memory of Dominic Frimpong of Berekum Chelsea, who tragically lost his life following an armed robbery attack on the team bus. The pause offered clubs a brief moment of reflection, but Hearts are now firmly refocusing on matters on the pitch.
The Phobians sit 3rd on the league table with 46 points and know a strong finish could keep them firmly in the hunt near the top.
Nations FC, currently 11th with 38 points, will arrive as dangerous opponents still fighting to climb the standings. With that in mind, Hearts’ players are putting in the work behind the scenes to ensure they are sharp, organised and ready when the whistle blows at the weekend.
