Ghanaian youngster Hakim Sulemana continued his impressive run of form by scoring in Hillerod Fodbold’s 2-1 victory over Lyngby BK in the Danish second-tier league on Sunday.
The 21-year-old winger has now netted in back-to-back league matches, underlining his growing influence since joining Hillerod on loan from top-flight side Randers FC.
Sulemana, who is the younger brother of Black Stars winger Kamaldeen Sulemana, is steadily carving out his own path in European football.
Lyngby took the lead in the 21st minute through midfielder Lauge Sandgrav, putting the visitors under early pressure.
However, Sulemana responded in fine fashion, restoring parity for Hillerod just before the break with a composed finish that showcased his attacking instincts.
His goal shifted the momentum of the game, as Hillerod returned from the interval with renewed confidence.
The home side pushed forward in search of a winner and were eventually rewarded late in the game when Faroe Islands forward Poul Kallsberg struck from an assist by Tobias Arndal.
Sulemana’s performance adds to what has been a promising spell in Denmark.
The former Ghana U20 star, who featured prominently during the 2024 African Games in Accra and the 2025 U20 AFCON, is beginning to translate his international promise into club success.
With consistent minutes and growing confidence, Sulemana looks set to play a key role for Hillerod in the remainder of the season.
