Ghanaian forward Daniel Agyei found the net as Kocaelispor earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Kasımpaşa at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadyumu.
Kasımpaşa took an early lead through Adrian Benedyczak in the second minute, with Mortadha Ben Ouanes providing the assist. However, Daniel Agyei restored parity for the visitors just 21 minutes later, finishing off a pass from Serdar Dursun to level the score at 1-1. The match remained deadlocked for the remainder of proceedings, with both teams unable to find a winner.
Daniel Agyei delivered an impressive individual performance, earning a match rating of 7.7 by Sofascore before being substituted in the 89th minute for Furkan Gedik. The 27-year-old has been a regular contributor for Kocaelispor this season, making 29 appearances in the Lig 1 campaign and scoring five goals.
Kocaelispor is 10th on the league table with 37 points after 32 games.
