The head coach of Bechem United, Kobina Amissah, has set his sights on a win against Swedru All Blacks in the team’s next match in the Ghana Premier League.
The coach was left fuming at his players on Wednesday after the Hunters suffered a 2-1 defeat to Dreams FC in their Week 30 fixture at home.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Amissah admitted that the Still Believe Boys deserved their win, adding that his players didn’t show the hunger for victory.
“We played as if there was nothing at stake. In the first half we created all the chances to score the goals but we couldn’t make it because we were not focused,” the Bechem United coach said.
Looking ahead to his team’s next game, the coach backed his side to go for all three points to improve their chances of escaping relegation at the end of the season.
“We are still confident that we will make amends in the next game against All Blacks. It’s not going to be an easy game but we will try our best to make sure we come home with something good,” Amissah said.
The upcoming Ghana Premier League Week 32 fixture between Swedru All Blacks and Bechem United is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
