President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has backed the Black Starlets not to be scared of any opposition ahead of the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Prosper Narteh Ogum and his charges have been housed in Group D alongside Algeria, Senegal and South Africa.
Addressing the players and the technical team before their departure to Morocco last week, Mr Okraku challenged the players to play with pride and not be scared of any side they play against.
“Go out there with courage, play with pride, and never be afraid of any opponent," he said.
"Ghana has a rich history in youth football, and it is your time to write the next chapter. Make the nation proud," Mr Okraku added.
The Black Starlets will begin their campaign on May 14.
Meanwhile, the Black Starlets suffered a narrow loss to Mali in their final preparatory game over the weekend.
