Carlos Queiroz and his Black Stars technical team have intensified preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with an extensive month-long programme focused on scouting, tactical analysis and player monitoring.
Between April 11 and May 11, the technical department carried out a detailed workload aimed at ensuring Ghana are fully prepared for the tournament in North America.
The initiative forms part of efforts to establish a more data-driven and detail-oriented structure within the national team setup under Queiroz.
According to figures released by the technical department, the team completed 200 full video reports for individual player analysis while also monitoring 170 matches.
The technical staff further conducted 30 live match observations and placed 75 players under continuous scouting observation, with 30 players directly monitored in person.
The month-long programme also included detailed technical and fitness analysis alongside comprehensive medical assessments and player monitoring.
“Behind every future success lies invisible work, sacrifice, discipline, and countless hours of commitment,” part of an internal communication shared within the department stated.
“The dream of a National Team is built every single day â through dedication, competence, attention to detail, passion, and responsibility,” the statement added.
Ghana have qualified for their fifth FIFA World Cup and will compete in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
The Black Stars will open their campaign against Panama in Toronto on June 17 before facing England on June 23 and Croatia on June 27.
