Mohammed Kudus remains without a clear return date after suffering a hamstring injury that has ruled him out for the rest of the season with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Ghana international has not featured since Spurs’ 1-1 draw with Sunderland AFC in January, where he played only 18 minutes before picking up the injury. Kudus later suffered a setback during his recovery in early April, further delaying his return to action.
Tottenham confirmed in a medical update that surgery remains a possibility, although no final decision has yet been made regarding the next stage of his treatment.
Spurs coach Roberto De Zerbi admitted uncertainty over the situation when asked whether the Ghanaian midfielder could undergo surgery.
“I don’t know. I have not spoken with the doctor about the Kudus situation,” De Zerbi said.
The injury has now raised major concerns over Kudus’ availability for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where Ghana are set to face Panama, England and Croatia in Group L.
