English-born Ghanaian youngster Ryan McAidoo has won the FA Youth Cup with Manchester City after helping the Etihad outfit beat rivals Manchester United U18 in the final.
A late strike from Reigan Heskey ensured City defeated United 2-1 to win their fifth FA Youth Cup.
City had opened the scoring five minutes before half time through Floyd Samba's sensational 25-yard free-kick, but United levelled from a Godwill Kukonki header to make it 1-1 before the break.
The game had compatriot and Manchester City first team forward Antoine Semenyo in attendance alongside manager Pep Guardiola.
McAidoo starred for City and played an influential role en route to the final, scoring in games against Fulham, Chelsea and Blackburn Rovers.
The talented forward celebrated the moment with his Ghanaian dad who watched the final at the Joie Stadium.
Despite being born in England, McAidoo remains eligible to represent Ghana at senior level.
