Former Leicester City defender Conor Coady believes Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has the quality to play in the English Premier League.
The Black Stars forward could not stop the Foxes from suffering back-to-back relegations after the former EPL champions were demoted to League One.
Issahaku was a standout performer for Leicester in a gloomy campaign, contributing 16 goals in the English Championship.
Although he played a remarkable role in their promotion to the Premier League two seasons ago under ex-Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, Issahaku suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury which ruled him out for most part of the campaign.
With several topflight sides interested in the Ghanaian, Coady is confident Issahaku will excel in the Premier League.
"Fatawu at Leicester," he said on The Overlap when asked about players from the Championship that can succeed in the Premier League. "I know Leicester have gone down and I know he’s had a bad second half of the season but I played with Abdul and he’s a very good player on his day. I know he was linked with certain clubs previously, so I would put him in that bracket," he added.
Issahaku is currently preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America before deciding on his future at Leicester City.
