Ghanaian centre-back Morrison Agyemang has been named in the MLS Team of the Week after an outstanding display for Charlotte FC against Toronto FC after matchday 14.
The defender produced a strong performance and was a rock at the back as Charlotte eased past Toronto 3-1 to return to winning ways, their first since April 18.
Morrison, who joined Charlotte from Crown Legacy, their reserve side, has been a revelation for the club and continues to make the headlines in the MLS.
The 21-year-old is joined by Juan Manuel Sanabria of Real Salt Lake and Mbekezeli Mbokazi Chicago Fire's in defence.
In midfielder LA Galaxy's Gabriel Pec stars alongside Guilherme of Houston Dynamo, New England'd Carles Gil and the legendary Lionel Messi.
The attack is made up of Tom Barlow of Cincinnati FC, San Diego's Marcus Ingvartsen and Hany Mukhtar of Nashville.
Morrison has already made 13 MLS appearances for Charlotte this season, scoring two goals for the Western Conference side.
