Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah has enjoyed a remarkable season in Asia, playing a key role in Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC’s triumph in the 2025/26 Cambodian Premier League.
The prolific forward capped off an outstanding campaign by winning the 2025/26 AFC Challenge League Golden Boot after scoring eight goals and providing two assists in just eight matches.
Peprah’s goalscoring exploits extended beyond continental competition, as he delivered an impressive 24 goals and seven assists in the Cambodian Premier League to spearhead Svay Rieng’s title charge.
The 25-year-old’s red-hot form proved instrumental in Svay Rieng’s dominant league campaign, with the club finishing top of the standings on 66 points to secure the championship.
Peprah’s resurgence marks a significant turnaround in a career that has seen mixed fortunes across different leagues. The powerful striker joined Orlando Pirates in 2021 but struggled for regular opportunities, leading to a loan spell at Maritzburg United before departing the South African giants in 2023.
Following his exit from Pirates, Peprah moved to Israeli side Hapoel Hadera, although his stint there was brief. He later signed for Kerala Blasters in India, where he again found it difficult to establish himself in the Indian Super League.
A switch to Cambodia, however, has reignited his career.
Since joining Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, the former King Faisal striker has rediscovered his scoring touch and emerged as one of the standout performers in Asian football.
His consistent displays and clinical finishing throughout the season have not only delivered silverware for his club but also reaffirmed his reputation as a natural goalscorer after challenging spells elsewhere.
