Croatia, Ghana's Group L opponents, have opened camp in Rijeka ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
The 2018 World Cup silver medalist began training on Monday, May 25, and will continue preparations at home till June 9, when they leave for the United States.
Several players including deputy captain Ivan Perisic reported at the Sheratan Hotel in Zagreb, before making a short trip to Rijeka for their first training session under coach Zlatko Dalic.
Other members of the team to also report are Dominik Livakovi?, Luka Vuškovi?, Martin Erli?, Kristijan Jaki?, Toni Fruk, Igor Matanovi? and Dominik Kotarski. The rest of the players are expected to arrive before May 29.
Croatia will face Belgium in a friendly on June 2nd in Rijevica, before rounding preparations with a warm-up game against Slovenia on June 7th in Varaždin.

The Eastern Europeans will open their World Cup campaign with a game against England in Group L. They will then face Panama and Ghana in their second and third matches of the tournament respectively.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars have started assembling in Wales for the first part of their camping.
Ghana will engage the Welsh national team in a friendly on June 2nd before travelling to Boston for the World Cup.
