Swedru All Blacks head coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey has expressed gratitude to the club's management, president, and supporters for their massive backing after his side secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Asante Kotoko to preserve their Premier League status.
Speaking to Mohammed Shaban on the sidelines of the FA Cup final, Ocansey reflected on the crucial win at the Baba Yara Stadium.
"I will thank the management and the president of the club and the supporters. The massive support â they were in Kumasi in their numbers to cheer us up. I congratulate the boys too. They were tactically disciplined and they did the job for us," Ocansey said.
The coach also revealed his confidence even after falling behind through an own goal.
"I wasn't surprised because we were more determined and we had to do everything possible to beat them because we needed the win to stay in the league."
When asked about his future following the club's survival, Ocansey remained tight-lipped. "No comment at the moment. A decision will come soon," he said.
