Christopher Bonsu Baah has completed a remarkable rise in his career after being named in Ghana's final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 21-year-old winger earned his place in Carlos Queiroz's squad following an outstanding season with Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah, where he emerged as one of the club's most influential attacking players.
Bonsu Baah featured in 32 league matches, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists as Al Qadsiah enjoyed a strong campaign.
His impressive form has now been rewarded with a place on football's biggest stage, marking another significant milestone in the youngster's development.
The call-up has been welcomed by SAY Sports Consult, the sports media and marketing agency that represents the player.
To celebrate the achievement, the agency produced a documentary-style announcement video tracing Bonsu Baah's journey to the World Cup.
SAY Sports Consult founder Samuel Ameyaw Yeboah described the selection as a proud moment for everyone connected to the winger.
"We are extremely happy for Christopher. This is a proud moment for him, his family, and everyone who has supported his journey," Yeboah said.
"He has worked hard for this opportunity, and we believe he has what it takes to make a positive impact for Ghana at the World Cup."
Bonsu Baah is among several young players included in Ghana's squad as Queiroz looks to blend youth and experience ahead of the tournament in North America.
The winger will now focus on securing a place in the starting lineup when Ghana continue their preparations with a friendly against Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia and will open their World Cup campaign against Panama on June 17 in Toronto.
