Aduana FC have officially appointed experienced Ghanaian trainer Samuel Boadu as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The Dormaa-based club confirmed the appointment on Friday, ending weeks of speculation surrounding the future of the former Hearts of Oak and Berekum Chelsea tactician.
Boadu joins the Ogya Boys following the expiration of his contract with Berekum Chelsea, where he guided the club through the second half of the 2025/26 campaign.
His final match in charge of the Bibires ended in a 2-1 defeat to newly crowned Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC.
The highly-rated coach replaces Cioba Aristica as Aduana seek to rebuild and challenge for major honours next season.
Boadu arrives in Dormaa with an impressive pedigree in Ghanaian football.
He enjoyed a memorable spell at Hearts, leading the Phobians to a historic Ghana Premier League and FA Cup double in 2021.
He also secured another FA Cup title with the Accra-based giants before leaving the club in October 2022.
Aduana endured a mixed 2025/26 season, finishing ninth in the Ghana Premier League standings after recording 14 wins, 10 draws and 10 defeats from 34 matches.
The club's hierarchy will be hoping Boadu's winning mentality, attacking philosophy and vast top-flight experience can help transform the team into genuine title contenders once again.
His appointment also makes him the second Ghana Premier League-winning coach to lead Aduana, following the footsteps of Paa Kwesi Fabian.
Boadu is expected to begin work immediately as Aduana intensify preparations for the upcoming season, with supporters optimistic that his arrival can usher in a new era of success at the club.
