FC Navbahor have completed the signing of Joel Kojo, adding an experienced Ghanaian-born forward to their squad ahead of the new campaign.
The 27-year-old arrives with a long career across Central and West Asia, plus a proven eye for goal.
Kojo started out at KK Adonteng in Ghana before moving to Kyrgyzstan in 2017, where he launched his senior career with Alay. His rise continued at Dordoi Bishkek, whom he joined on a free transfer in January 2021 and represented until January 2023, winning domestic honors along the way.
He then stepped up to the Uzbekistan Super League with Dinamo Samarqand, where his performances helped the club’s promotion push. After that, he earned a move to Iranian side Esteghlal in January 2025 and later spent the second half of the year on loan at Neftchi Fergana.
Kojo stands 1.74 meters tall and is known for his pace on the left wing, right-footed finishing, and sharp movement in the final third. By 2025, he had scored more than 80 club goals across several leagues, making him a strong attacking addition for Navbahor.
