Brandon Antwi Sarpong has completed a permanent transfer from former Ghana Premier League side Nations FC to Libyan Premier League club Al-Madina SC.
The 21-year-old midfielder has officially committed to a two-year contract with the Tripoli-based outfit following a stellar campaign in the domestic football league.
Sarpong was a pivotal figure for Nations FC during the 2025/26 season, anchoring the midfield and driving the team to historic success.
His commanding performances were instrumental in guiding the club to secure the prestigious MTN FA Cup title.
Sarpong’s tactical awareness, high work rate, and ability to control matches quickly made him one of the most sought-after young talents in Ghanaian football, attracting substantial interest from several North African clubs before Al-Madina SC secured his signature.
Nations FC confirmed the departure through an official club statement, expressing gratitude for his immense contributions and wishing him success in the Libyan top flight.
The Abrankese-based club acknowledged that while losing a player of Sarpong's caliber is a significant competitive blow, the move represents a massive step forward for his professional career development.
Al-Madina SC, currently bolstering their squad for the upcoming campaign, view the energetic Ghanaian midfielder as a vital addition to their central core.
Sarpong, who initially joined Nations FC from Centirou Life FC, is expected to link up with his new teammates in Tripoli immediately to begin pre-season preparations ahead of his league debut.
