Namibian referee Antsino Ndemugwanitha Twanyanyukwa has been appointed to oversee Ghana’s crucial FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying second-leg encounter against Senegal in Accra.
The decisive fixture will be played on Saturday, July 11, at the Accra Sports Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 15:30 GMT as both teams compete for one of Africa’s qualification spots for the global tournament.
The Black Maidens are aiming to secure a positive result on home soil after earning a valuable draw in the first leg in Senegal.
Twanyanyukwa will be supported by a team of officials from across the continent as the Confederation of African Football prepares for the high-stakes encounter.
Zambia’s Diana Chikotesha has been appointed as Assistant Referee 1, while Cameroon’s Carine Atezambong Fomo will serve as Assistant Referee 2.
Another Namibian official, Nuusiku Vistoria Shangula, has been selected as the fourth official for the match.
Away from the pitch, The Gambia’s Sainabou Cham will take charge as the match commissioner, while Nigeria’s Faith Uwugiaren Irabor has been appointed as the referee assessor.
The Black Maidens will be looking to deliver a strong performance in front of their home supporters as they attempt to secure a place at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
