Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Yeboah has completed a permanent move to Romanian club CS Corvinul Hunedoara from Danish side Brøndby IF.
The 23-year-old returns to Romanian football two years after leaving CFR Cluj to join Brondby in the summer of 2023.
Yeboah struggled for regular playing time during his spell in Denmark, making 10 appearances for the Danish Superliga outfit.
In a bid to gain more first-team experience, the striker spent time on loan at Vejle Boldklub before joining Swedish side Halmstads BK for the 2025/26 season.
After returning to Brondby this summer, all parties agreed on a permanent transfer that will see the Ghanaian continue his career with Corvinul Hunedoara.
Brøndby's football director, Julius Ohnesorge, said the move was the best outcome for both the player and the club.
"We have had a good and open dialogue with Emmanuel throughout the process, and therefore we are also pleased that together we have found a permanent solution that gives Emmanuel the best opportunities to continue his development," Ohnesorge said.
"It is a solution that we assess is the right one for both parties, and we wish him all the best in the future."
Yeboah will be hoping the move provides the regular playing opportunities needed to revive his career after limited appearances in Denmark and loan spells in both Denmark and Sweden.
The former Ghana youth international now begins a new chapter in Romania, where he will look to rediscover the form that earned him a move to Brøndby two years ago.
