Sudanese powerhouse Al Hilal have expressed interest in signing Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams following his outstanding performances in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, multiple sources have confirmed.
The 24-year-old played a pivotal role in Medeama's title-winning campaign, emerging as one of the standout performers in the Ghanaian top flight.
Adams joined Medeama from Hearts of Oak in September 2025, and his signing proved to be a masterstroke for the Tarkwa-based club. The midfielder registered 12 goals in 28 league appearances throughout the 2025/26 campaign, making him one of the most prolific midfielders in the division.
Adams' contributions did not go unnoticed. He was named Medeama Player of the Season during the club's coronation ceremony after they secured their second Ghana Premier League title in history.
His head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, has been vocal in his support for the midfielder, backing him for the league's Player of the Season award.
"Salim Adams deserves the Player of the Season award. If you look at the performance, every coach in Ghana can testify that there is no doubt he is outstanding," Tanko said.
Adams' performances have attracted interest from clubs beyond Ghana's borders. Earlier this year, Tanzanian giants Simba SC were also reported to be monitoring the midfielder.
Al Hilal, who have a history of signing Ghanaian talent, are now the latest club to join the race for his signature.
Adams was called up to the Black Stars squad for an international friendly against Mexico in May, further underlining his rising stock.
With Medeama now preparing for their return to the CAF Champions League, the club may face a battle to hold on to their midfield sensation as interest from Sudan intensifies.
