Ghana U17 deputy captain Ernest Ofori has taken another significant step towards a professional career after earning an invitation to train with Swedish club Falkenberg, who are assessing the midfielder ahead of a potential transfer.
The highly rated youngster has already made an impressive first impression, scoring once and providing an assist in a trial match as he showcased the qualities that have made him one of Ghana's brightest emerging talents.
Ofori, who is contracted to Greater Accra Division Two outfit Great Somas FC, has enjoyed a steady rise through Ghana's youth football ranks thanks to his consistency.
He is among a select group of players to have progressed from Ghana's national U15 team to the Black Starlets.
The midfielder first caught the attention of international observers at the 2023 UEFA U16 Development Tournament in Serbia, where his skill-set marked him out as a player with considerable potential.

He later represented Ghana at the 2025 WAFU Zone B U17 Boys' Championship in Yamoussoukro, Côte d'Ivoire.
A successful assessment in Sweden could now open the door to Ofori's first move to European football as Falkenberg continue to evaluate him.
