Togo-Ghanaian centre-back Kennedy Boateng, currently without a club after leaving FC Dinamo, is being linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Fateh.
Boateng, 29, ended his spell with Dinamo on 1 July after joining the Romanian club from Austria Lustenau in July 2024. The defender made 53 appearances in Romania’s SuperLiga, scoring six goals and providing one assist.
The proposed move would take Boateng to Saudi Arabia after a career that has included spells in Austria and Portugal. He has also played 52 times in Liga Portugal and made 41 Bundesliga appearances.
Boateng began his senior career with Austrian club LASK after moving from Ghanaian side WAFA SC in 2016. He later won the Austrian Second League twice, with LASK in the 2016-17 season and SV Ried in 2019-20.
The 1.91m right-footed defender is now listed without a club, having most recently represented Dinamo. No agreement has been confirmed between Boateng and Al-Fateh, and the proposed switch remains at the rumour stage.
