The Ghana Football Association's Talent Identification Programme (TID) continues this week with the final phase of the 2026 Elite Academy Schools selection moving to the Brong Ahafo and Ashanti Regions.
The exercise will take place at Nana Ofosu Gyeabour Park in the Brong Ahafo Region and Urban Park in the Ashanti Region, where 72 talented boys and girls will undergo final assessments after impressing during the earlier stages of the nationwide scouting programme.
Participants will be evaluated by the GFA's technical staff and accredited talent scouts as they compete for places at the Association's Elite Academy Schools at Bolgatanga Senior High School, Prempeh College and Achimota School.
The programme combines football development with quality education, providing young players with a structured pathway to pursue both their academic and sporting ambitions.
The Talent Identification Programme remains one of the GFA's flagship youth development initiatives, aimed at discovering and nurturing talented footballers from across the country while creating opportunities for them to progress through Ghana's football development system.
