Ghana goalkeeper Joseph Anang produced a commanding display between the posts, making two crucial saves to help St Patrick's Athletic secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Shelbourne in a fractious Dublin derby at Tolka Park.
The win lifts St Patrick's Athletic to second place in the Irish Premier Division, though they remain seven points behind leaders Shamrock Rovers.
Anang, who played the full 90 minutes, was pivotal in preserving his side's lead, particularly with a vital stop just before half-time.
