Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Ababio joins Slovakian side Inter Bratislava

Highly-rated Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Ababio has sealed a move to Slovakian club FK Inter Bratislava. 

The talented midfielder signed a long-term contract to join the Liga 2 side from Ghanaian side MSK Zilina Africa.

Ababio will join his teammates this week and could make his debut against Slovan Galanta on Saturday, August 11.

"We are pleased to officially announce the transfer of midfielder powerhouse Bernard Ababio to Slovakian side FK Inter Bratislava on a permanent, long-term contract," wrote Zilina Africa, confirming the move.

"Bernard Ababio has been the heartbeat of our team, commanding the pitch with pride, passion, and leadership. While we will miss his presence in the squad, we are overjoyed to see him earn this opportunity on the European stage. We wish him all the best of luck," the club added.

Inter Bratislava are hoping to secure promotion to the Liga 1, with the Ghanaian expected to play a significant role.
