Wisdom Acquah, the Italian-Ghanaian midfielder at Torino, is the subject of reported interest from Serie B club Catanzaro.
The 19-year-old defensive midfielder has been linked with a move from the Serie A side as Catanzaro assess options for their squad. Acquah joined Torino’s senior set-up from the club’s Under-20 team on 1 July 2026, having progressed through the club’s youth structure.
Acquah made 31 appearances for Torino in Primavera 1, providing one assist. He was also part of the Torino Under-18 side that won the Italian Under-18 youth championship in the 2024-25 season.
Born in Calcinate, Acquah holds Italian and Ghanaian nationality. He stands 1.84m tall and is left-footed.
The midfielder’s current contract with Torino runs until 30 June 2029, meaning any move to Catanzaro would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free transfer. No transfer fee has been established in connection with the rumour.
Acquah has yet to record a senior appearance for Torino in Serie A or the Italian Cup. Catanzaro compete in Serie B, while Torino remain in Italy’s top division.
