Black Princesses step up preparations ahead of FIFA U-20 Womenâ??s World Cup

Ghana’s Black Princesses have arrived in Poland as they intensify preparations for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Head coach Charles Sampson led the team through a two-hour training session on Thursday, with all 18 players currently in camp taking part.

The squad is using the training camp to sharpen its preparations ahead of the biennial tournament, with the team aiming to make history on the global stage.

Ghana have been drawn in Group C and will begin their campaign against Ecuador on September 6, 2026.

The Black Princesses will then face Korea Republic before completing their group-stage campaign against France.

Sampson and his technical team will use the remaining preparation period to work on the team’s tactical organisation, fitness and match readiness ahead of the opening fixture.

The Black Princesses will be hoping to make a strong start against Ecuador as they begin their quest to progress from a challenging group and make a deep run in the tournament.
