Ghanaian striker Mohammed Fuseini has emerged as a transfer target for French Ligue 1 side Troyes, with talks underway over a possible move from Union Saint-Gilloise.
Troyes are understood to be pushing for a loan deal with an option to buy for the 24-year-old, while Union SG would prefer a permanent transfer.
Fuseini joined the Belgian champions from Randers FC in 2024 for a reported â¬2 million and has a contract with the club until 2028.
The forward has been an important part of the Union SG squad since his arrival, making regular appearances and offering pace and versatility in attack.
His possible departure comes after Union SG won the Belgian league title, with Fuseini initially expected to have a bigger role with the club this season.
Troyes, who have returned to Ligue 1, are looking to strengthen their attack and see Fuseini as a potential addition ahead of the new campaign.
A loan deal with an option to buy remains the preferred proposal from the French side, but Union SG’s desire for a permanent transfer could determine how negotiations progress.
Fuseini, who is valued at around â¬2.5 million by Transfermarkt, remains under contract with Union SG until June 2028.
The Ghana international has earned two caps for the Black Stars and has scored once for the national team.
