Mensah has signed a contract with Ceuta until 30 June 2028 after leaving Zaragoza, where he spent the second half of the 2025-26 season. He joined the Aragonese club from Betis Deportivo on 2 February 2026, also on a free transfer, before switching to Ceuta on 21 August.
The central midfielder becomes part of a Ceuta squad competing in Spain’s second tier. He is 1.72m tall, prefers his right foot and was born in Accra, Ghana, on 15 November 2003.
Mensah has experience across Spain’s professional and semi-professional divisions. He has made 13 appearances in LaLiga2 and played 31 times in Primera Federacion, while recording 76 appearances, 11 goals and four assists in Segunda Federacion. He also scored once in three promotion play-off appearances.
His Spanish career began with Antequera CF, whom he joined from Ghanaian club Shooting Stars in January 2022 on a free transfer. Mensah then moved to Betis Deportivo in July 2023 for a reported €60,000 fee, establishing a path through the Spanish football system before his later move to Zaragoza.
The midfielder’s time at Zaragoza lasted less than seven months, with his departure allowing him to continue his career at a club competing one division higher. Ceuta have secured his services without a transfer fee, while Mensah’s contract provides a commitment through the end of the 2027-28 campaign.
His recorded market value is €400,000, although no fee was paid for the transfer. The move represents the latest stage of a career that has taken Mensah from Ghana to Spain and through four clubs since 2022.
Mensah is now an AD Ceuta player, having completed his free transfer from Real Zaragoza on a deal running until June 2028.
