Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon says his side is in good shape as they approach the GHALCA Top 4 competition, which he considers an important final test before the start of the new league season.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Dormon expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress throughout the pre-season, highlighting the players’ response to the technical team’s preparations.
“I think so far it's went it has went well. The players are responding to our discussions, and we have taken them through the physical, technical, tactical and psychological preparations,” Dormon said.
The Dreams FC coach explained that the club deliberately scheduled high-profile matches towards the end of their preparations to assess the squad’s readiness.
“The team is looking good, so we should be good for the start of the league,” he added.
Dormon also welcomed the timing of the GHALCA Top 4, describing the competition as the perfect opportunity to fine-tune the team ahead of the campaign.
“We are happy that the Top 4 is around the corner. We have taken the Top 4 as a dress rehearsal towards the end of the pre-season,” he stated.
