Black Sherif roots for Wendy Shay for Artiste of the year

Music sensation Black Sherif is rooting for Wendy Shay to win the artiste of the year because she has worked hard in the year under review.

According to Black Sherif, it is worrying that, although Wendy Shay made it to the list, her name is missing from conversations from industry players surrounding the artiste of the year category.

In an interview with Kafui Dey, Black Sherif said; “I would say I don’t like how people are not mentioning Wendy Shay’s name for the Artiste of the Year category.

I don’t really like the division but if I am taking everything as real as it is and seeing things for what it is, and seing things for what it is, I will say I don’t like how they are not mentioning Wendy Shay for artiste of the year because I feel she is eligible for artiste of the year this year. We should empower women,” he added.

The contenders for this year’s Artiste of the year category include Black Sherif, Medikal, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Wendy Shay and Diana Hamilton.

So far, the names that have come up in industry conversations are Medikal and Stonebwoy.
