Over 243,334 Ghanaians Have Psychiatric Problems

Ghana yesterday marked the World Mental Health Day with a call on people to seek checks and treatment for mental disorders as they did for other sicknesses.
According to the Mental Health Society of Ghana (MEHSOG), a World Health Organization (WHO) report had estimated that approximately 242,334 of Ghanaians were suffering from neuro-psychiatric conditions and severe mental disorders which mostly emanate from various cases of depression.
