Ghana Envisages Zero New HIV Infection, Deaths

Ghana AIDS Commission has celebrated the 2012 World AIDS day, in Accra yesterday on the theme ?Zero new HIV infection, Zero AIDS related death and Zero Discrimination?.
The celebration was slated for December, last year, but was re-scheduled to the general elections.
In an address the Acting Greater Accra Regional Minister, Laryea Afotey Agbo, said Ghana?s prevalence rate is 2.1 per cent, and expressed worry that the region was ranked third, on the regional prevalence table.
