Medeama head coach Ibrahim Tanko has confirmed the return of defender Mamudu Kamaradini ahead of Wednesday’s rescheduled Ghana Premier League matchday 14 fixture against Bibiani Gold Stars, strengthening his squad at a critical stage of the title race.
The Mauve and Yellow travel to Dun’s Park sitting second on the table with 30 points from 15 matches, level with leaders Asante Kotoko but behind on goal difference.
Kamaradini had missed Medeama’s previous outing due to an accumulation of yellow cards but is now available after resuming full training.
His return is viewed as a timely boost for a backline that has played a key role in Medeama’s impressive 12-match unbeaten run in the league, contributing two crucial goals.
“He [Kamaradini] was out because of three yellow cards, but he is back. He trained with us today, so we will see what happens,” Tanko said.
Bibiani Gold Stars have won all seven of their home matches this season and are only two points off the summit, adding extra significance to the contest.
