Medeama Sporting Club have maintained their place at the summit of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League standings at the end of matchday 19.
The Yellow and Mauves were in action on Saturday in a tricky fixture against Vision FC.
In the game played at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Ibrahim Tanko’s men conceded first but rallied from behind to secure an important 2-1 victory thanks to a wonderful brace from Salim Adams.
The result increased Medeama’s points tally in the Ghana Premier League to 40 and extended their goal difference to 16.
In a weekend where title contenders Aduana FC, Gold Stars, and Asante Kotoko all dropped points, Medeama SC capitalised to open a seven-point gap at the summit of the league table.
Gold Stars in second, Asante Kotoko in third, and Aduana FC in fourth make up the top four, while Hearts of Oak follow in the fifth position.
Dreams FC, Swedru All Blacks, and Nations FC are in the midtable positions, with Berekum Chelsea, Hohoe United, and Eleven Wonders still languishing in the relegation zone.
