Scottish topflight side, Dundee United, have completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyei.
The 21-year-old signed a deal to join the Tangerines from Israeli side FC Ashdod.
The former Dreams FC midfielder arrives after an outstanding spell with Ashdod, where he made 27 appearances in the league for the club.
Agyei is expected to play a huge role in Jim Goodwin's side for the rest of the season.
“Emmanuel is a player whose energy and willingness to play forward quickly caught our attention," said the Dundee manager.
"He’s comfortable receiving the ball under pressure and has shown he can operate in different roles, whether that’s sitting in front of the backline or playing in a more advanced, box-to-box position," he added.
Agyei started his career in Ghana with Dreams FC, helping them achieve their best finish in the 2022/23 season while also playing a pivotal role in their FA Cup winning season. He was also part of the historic team that reached the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final with the Still Believe lads.
“Emmanuel has extensive experience of senior football in Ghana, having made in excess of 70 appearances back home in the top flight, whilst he has become a more polished and rounded midfielder during his time in Israel playing against strong European opposition," continued Goodwin.
“His career path shows a mental toughness and willingness to challenge himself in new environments, and that’s exactly the type of character I’m keen to add to my existing group.
He concluded: "We see this move as the next step in his development. He’s still only 21, but he arrives with a clear understanding of his responsibilities on the pitch and a real hunger to improve."
