Midfielder Etse Dogli named MoTM after starring in Heart of Lionsâ?? draw against Hearts of Oak

Heart of Lions midfielder Etse Dogli was named Man of the Match (MoTM) on Friday afternoon after starring in the team’s goalless stalemate against Hearts of Oak.

The midfield maestro started the Week 26 fixture for his team and helped them to secure a crucial point in what turned out to be a very tough contest.

In the match played at Kpando Sports Stadium, Hearts of Lions, backed by their strong home form, matched Hearts in organisation and intensity, while creating more set-piece pressure, finishing with eight corners compared to the visitors’ two.

The game was played under high temperatures, prompting the referee to introduce a cooling break to manage conditions.

Despite the best efforts of the two teams, neither side could find the back of the net and had to settle for a draw at full-time.

For his outstanding showing in the game, Dogli deservedly earned the Man of the Match award.
