Former Ghana youth international Bright Addae has completed his move to Serie D side Real Aversa 1925.
The versatile midfielder signed a one-year deal to join the fourth-tier side ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Addae arrives with enormous experience, having spent over a decade playing in Italy's various divisions.
His capture is seen as a huge boost for the Serie D side, who are eyeing a step up in Italy's football ladder.
"A purchase that raises the bar, ignites the enthusiasm of the square and sends a strong message to the entire championship. The Real Aversa 1925 scores a sensational blow to secure the performance of Ghanaian midfielder Bright Christopher Addae, a footballer of international intensity, charismatic leader and a genuine man of experience," posted the club on social media.
"The arrival of the class of 1992 represents much more than just a reinforcement: it’s a declaration of intentions. The Grenade company brings to Aversa a player who has written important pages of Italian football, a star for years including Serie B, Serie C and Serie D, with a career built through over four hundred official appearances," added the club.
The 33-year-old join Real Aversa after ending his time at Nardo, a side he captained last season, making 96 appearances and leading the Apulians to the playoffs.
The former Ghana U20 player has made 163 appearances in Serie B with various clubs including Ascoli and Juve Stabia. Addae also made 50 Serie C appearances and played 150 games in the Serie D.
