Ghana international Benjamin Tetteh has emerged as a transfer target for UAE Pro League outfit Kalba FC in the current summer window.
The former Black Stars, who currently plies his trade for NK Maribor has attracted significant interest following an impressive performance for the Slovenian club last term.
The 29-year-old centre-forward joined Maribor on a permanent deal from FC Metz in 2025 and has since established himself as a key member of the team.
During the 2025/26 campaign, the enterprising attacker racked up 12 goals to finish as the top scorer in the Prva Liga. This season, Tetteh has yet to make an appearance for Maribor after six matches into the current campaign.
The striker previously spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Maribor from Metz before returning to France at the end of that spell. His permanent move back to Slovenia followed, and his current market value is listed at â¬900,000.
Tetteh began his European career with Standard Liege after leaving Ghanaian club Dreams FC. He has also played for Bohemians 1905, Sparta Prague, Yeni Malatyaspor, Hull City and Metz, while winning the Belgian Cup with Standard Liege and the Czech Cup with Sparta Prague.
Any move to Kalba FC would therefore represent a return to a new league for Tetteh, with the forward’s Maribor contract still scheduled to run until the end of May 2027.
