Godson completed the switch on 27 August 2026, moving between two Spanish clubs as Guijuelo add him to their attacking options for the 2026-27 campaign. The agreement is a temporary transfer, with the player due to return to Numancia when the loan ends.
The forward arrived at Numancia’s senior team from the club’s reserve side on 1 July 2026, having previously stepped up from their Under-19 squad. His progression through the organisation followed his move from Ghanaian club Dansoman Wise to Numancia U19 in July 2024.
Godson has already featured in Spanish football across the 2026-27 season. His recorded appearances include seven in Segunda Federacion - Group I, where he has played 82 minutes, as well as one Copa del Rey appearance lasting 45 minutes.
His move to Guijuelo gives the Ghanaian attacker another opportunity to gain senior experience in Spain while remaining contracted to Numancia beyond the current loan arrangement. The transfer also continues a short series of moves through the Spanish club’s senior and development structure since his arrival from Dansoman Wise.
Born on 2 January 2006, Godson has spent the bulk of his football career in Spain since leaving Ghana. He first joined Numancia’s Under-19 side before moving into the club’s reserve team and then the senior squad earlier this year.
Guijuelo will retain Godson’s services through the end of the 2026-27 season, after which the loan agreement provides for his return to Numancia. The move does not include a transfer fee figure.
Godson has therefore left Numancia temporarily after making the progression from the club’s academy pathway to its first team. His immediate destination is Guijuelo, where he will continue his career as a Ghanaian centre-forward in Spanish football.
The loan transfer from CD Numancia to CD Guijuelo was completed on 27 August 2026 and runs until 30 June 2027.
