The victory earned him the gold medal, while Addo settled for silver and Reuben Teye Tetteh claimed bronze.
The Mixed Doubles category was dominated by Ahmad Abdul Samad and Prospera Nantuo, who were flawless throughout the competition.
They opened with dominant group-stage wins over Jessica Lomotey and Reuben Teye Tetteh (21-15, 21-10) before producing a composed performance in the final to defeat Racheal Quarcoo and Brempong Ofori Acheampong 2-0 (21-16, 22-20) and clinch gold.
Attention then shifted to the Men’s Doubles final, where Samad teamed up with Ebenezer Kwame Korampong against the University of Ghana pair, Andy Amofa and Leslie Adote Addo.
After narrowly losing the opening game 19-21, Samad and Korampong raised their intensity, tightened their defence and dominated the next two rounds 21-9, 21-13 to snatch the gold medal.
Amofa and Addo settled for silver, while Jonathan Ankrah and Francis Obeng Shang secured bronze.
In the Women’s Doubles, former national star, Victoria Asmah, partnered Under-15 sensation, Alana Faith Sullo, in a dominant run to the title.
